The Heritage Tea Room is open Wednesdays & Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Fridays through Sundays from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Walk-ins are always welcome! Please note that guests with reservations are prioritized for indoor dining. Wait times may be approximately 1 hour or more, depending on demand and the queue at the time of arrival.
Our Café Bar is also open for to-go orders, perfect for guests who would like to enjoy their food and drinks in our outdoor gardens and picnic areas.
We can accommodate many common allergies and dietary restrictions. However, as we prepare and bake a large portion of our food in-house, we cannot guarantee that any item is completely allergen-free or entirely free from cross-contamination. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions when making your reservation, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Yes, we have almond milk, oat milk available as substitutes for dairy milk.
Our High Tea Experience is available by reservation only and may be booked on any day we are open. High Tea is served for the entire table and is currently priced at $55 per person. Each experience includes a selection of sandwiches, sweets, dainties, and fresh fruit.

The Tea Room is wheelchair accessible, with a gravel ramp leading to the main entrance, accessible washrooms, and seating options suitable for wheelchair access.
To ensure a consistent guest experience and to accommodate our limited seating capacity, we are currently standardizing our dining time to 90 minutes for all guests. This helps us manage table turnover fairly and ensures we can welcome all reservations throughout the day, most especially on weekends that are typically fully booked.
However, on quieter weekdays (Wednesdays and Thursdays), we may be able to accommodate longer stays provided there are no reservations scheduled after your seating time. Our staff will be happy to assist with any such requests when availability allows.
We don’t currently offer anything specifically for birthdays or special celebrations, but we’d still love to welcome you and be part of your special occasion.
Our Café Bar offers a selection of pastries and desserts, freshly made each day and available while supplies last. You’re welcome to choose from what’s available on the day of your visit.
Guests are welcome to bring commercially prepared foods. A $2 per person cutting/service fee applies.

If you’re celebrating a special occasion and planning to bring a cake or other dessert, please let our team know in advance. Alternatively, our kitchen team can prepare custom cakes and desserts for your celebration. These must be pre-ordered at least two weeks in advance to allow our team sufficient time to prepare your order. Please reach out to us for more details and to discuss available options.
We sincerely apologize, but at this time, we do not have high chairs available for children. Our current seating options include regular wooden chairs, which are available for all guests.

Yes! The grounds surrounding Captain William Kennedy House are part of a public provincial park, and visitors are welcome to enjoy the property and take personal photographs during their visit. Couples and families are welcome to visit the grounds with a photographer for casual photography; however, the property remains open for public enjoyment. Photography does not include exclusive use of any area, and other visitors may be walking through or enjoying the gardens at the same time.
However, organized or commercial photography sessions may require a Special Event Permit from Manitoba Parks, particularly when the property is being used as a planned photography location or a photographer is conducting multiple client sessions. If you're planning an organized professional or commercial photo shoot, please contact us in advance so we can help determine what arrangements or permits may be required.
We are located in St. Andrew’s, Manitoba at The Captain Kennedy House. Some maps may incorrectly display Stony Mountain, but the address will still bring you to the correct location.
Absolutely! We love helping families and friends gather at The Heritage Tea Room.
Because Kennedy House is a historic property, our dining spaces are intentionally intimate and can accommodate only a limited number of guests at any one time.
GROUPS OF 1-4 GUESTS
Reservations are accommodated throughout the Tea House using our regular seating arrangements.
GROUPS OF 5-12 GUESTS
We are often able to accommodate these parties within our Dining Room, subject to availability.
GROUPS OF 13+ GUESTS
Parties of this size are considered Large Group Bookings and may require a dedicated event space or private room reservation.

The Tea House occupies a historic building with a collection of smaller rooms and tables designed for intimate dining experiences.
While we are happy to accommodate larger groups whenever possible, combining tables often requires us to remove a significant portion of our regular seating capacity and impacts the experience of other guests.
For this reason, some large gatherings may require a private booking or event package.
The Sunroom is our most requested dining space and is arranged to maximize guest comfort and capacity. All online bookings are guaranteed seating in the Sunroom. For larger parties, reservations are accommodated in our Dining Room, which can seat a maximum of 13 guests.
Private use of the Sunroom during regular operating hours is generally available only through our private event program and is subject to availability.
